MOST Skincare is proud to support Briantea84, an amateur sports association founded in 1984 in Cantù thanks to the vision of Alfredo Marson.
A story that began in 1984
Briantea84’s name reflects its origins: it was founded in 1984 in Cantù thanks to the vision and passion of Alfredo Marson, who led the association for almost forty years with a clear dream—to build a space where sport was a right, an opportunity, and a culture. Today, the association is led by president Gianantonio Tomaselli, who has taken up the mantle and is carrying on the project with great dedication.
From its beginnings with wheelchair basketball, the association has gradually expanded its activities to become a structured multi-sport organization with over 170 athletes aged 8 and above.
There are five active sports areas:
Wheelchair basketball (physical disability)
Swimming (physical and intellectual-relational disability)
Soccer (intellectual-relational disability)
Basketball (intellectual-relational disability)
Athletics (intellectual-relational disability)
Disability as a value, not a limitation
At Briantea84, disability is not an obstacle to be compensated for, but a characteristic of the person to be recognized and valued.
Sport becomes body language, a means of expression, individual growth, and relationship building.
Constant training, respect for the rules, team spirit, and the pursuit of improvement: these are the pillars that guide every athlete on their journey.
Culture and awareness: impact beyond the field
Alongside sporting activities, Briantea84 promotes cultural projects in schools and educational contexts.
Since 2008, the “Be Inspired” project has involved over 25,000 children and young people, helping to spread an inclusive culture and a more conscious awareness of Paralympic sport. This work has a profound effect, transforming the outlook of the younger generation.
